Did you just click on a link to a PDF or a link to the Admin and Resources, Secure or Brandbox libraries and end up at this page? Please read on ...
In order to better meet the needs of our membership, we have changed the location of key documentation and files to a new library located within our Members Portal. The old Admin and Resources Library (that was publically viewable) and also the old Secure Resources library (which was password protected) have both been incorporated into this new Portal Library. In order to access that library you will first need to create a Portal account.
Please follow these steps to gain access to the Portal and its member-related files and documentation:
1. If you are already a member of an SLSA-affiliated organisation such as a surf club, lifeguard or support organisation then the system will connect to your Surfguard account. Click on the Create Account link on the Portal homepage and enter your details, ensuring that they match the details stored in Surfguard. You will receive an activation code to enable your account.
2. If you are an administrator of an SLSA-affiliated organisation and you require administrative access to the Library in order to upload and approve documents, please fill in a Form 049 and send the completed document to email@example.com so we can upgrade your account.
3. If you are not a member of an SLSA-affiliated organisation but are an administrator for a club, branch, state or support group and you require administrative access to the Library in order to upload and approve documents, please fill in a Form 049 and send the completed document to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will manually create an account for you with the appropriate administrative rights.
To access the Library simply click on the link on the Portal home page. The Library is organised by Subject > Category > Organisation - so for example SLSA's IT documents are located in Administration > IT > SLSA.
The Portal Library also features an excellent search facility that should enable you to locate any files. Search by file name or subject.
If you require support creating or administering your Portal account please email email@example.com or call the helpdesk on 1300 724006. There is a range of helpful forms in the Downloads section of this website, located here, including a Portal Guide for Club Members.
