CEO for Surf Life Saving Northern Territory (SLSNT)
Surf Life Saving Northern Territory (SLSNT) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer, based in Darwin, NT.
As a major water safety, drowning prevention and rescue authority SLSNT provides commercial lifeguard and lifesaving education services and promotes coastal safety through volunteer beach patrols, marine rescue, member training, public safety campaigns and the promotion of health and fitness in the community through sport and recreation.
This Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the growth and development of a sustainable and diverse organisation with a strategic focus to ensure Surf Life Saving NT continues to achieve its mission of saving lives, creating great Australians and building better communities.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated person with a proven track record in business leadership and management. Experience in Surf Life Saving, or similar community-based organisations, would be an advantage.
The successful applicant reports to the President of Surf Life Saving NT.
