The final countdown to the 2011 Coolangatta Gold is on. The iconic race be held on Sunday, 25 September with competition starting from Kurrawa Beach on the Gold Coast from 7am.
We strongly encourage all athletes to read the Final Carnival Circular prior to the race to ensure they are fully prepared. We wish every competitor the best of luck this weekend and look forward to a great 2011 Coolangatta Gold!
Coolangatta Gold start lists available to download
The start lists for the 2011 Coolangatta Gold have now been finalised - find out what your race number is here. All athletes are encouraged to clearly number themselves prior to the race on their arms and legs. Numbering will also take place on the beach from 6:30am onwards.
Athlete briefings and athlete pack collection
Mandatory briefings for all athletes will be held on Saturday, 24 September starting from 12pm at Broadbeach State School. Competitor kits can be collected at the completion of each briefing from Broadbeach State School. Please note: Competitor packs cannot be collected prior to the mandatory briefing.
Briefing times are as follows:
12:00pm - Open Men / Masters Men's 30-39 and 40+
1:00pm - Open Women / U19 Men and Women / Masters Men 50+ / Masters Women 30+ and 40+
2:00pm - All teams
3:00pm - Officials Briefing

Don’t miss the Coolangatta Gold Kids Carnival at Kurrawa Park from 9am – 1pm on Sunday 25 Sept. Get your face painted, bounce around on the jumping castle and catch the excitement of Sandstorm Beach Volleyball. There will be stacks of free rides and activities so reach new heights on the rock climbing wall or take a dip down the giant slide.
