Surf Life Saving South Australia General Manager, Elaine Farmer OAM and President, John Baker (SLSSA President) have been presented with South Australian Emergency Services Medals for their contributions in the area of Emergency Services.

John and Elaine were two of twenty six people from emergency service agencies recognised for their efforts. Thirteen recipients were awarded a Certificate of Merit while another thirteen were recognised with the SA Emergency Services Medal.

Other agencies inlcuded State Emergency Services, Country Fire Services, Metropolitan Fire Service, SA Ambulance Service, Volunteer Marine Rescue and Surf Life Saving SA.
