It’s an easy event to get to via both train and bus, with convenient parking right under the Opera House for those wanting to drive.

Online entries are open now and will remain open until 12noon EDST on Wednesday 25 January. Registration is available on the day from 6.30am for the late decision makers with presentations concluded by 11.30am on the day in plenty of time for all those Australia Day BBQs.

With a swim for all ages and abilities this is a great family event starting with the Kellogg’s Junior Kids 300m Swim where elite and celebrity swimmers join the kids in the water.  The Swim also features the 750m Swim for all ages and the 2.2km age category event.  For those who are just starting out in open water swimming or want to take it a little easy you can enter the “anything goes” category and wear a wetsuit and or use swimming aides such as flippers and kick boards.

The top three place getters in every category receive a prize with some great prizes including $300 gift packs from Body Science up for grabs in the random draw.  Every participant receives a race pack packed with goodies.
