It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Eric Hofmaster, a valued Life Member of Surf Life Saving Australia and Surf Life Saving Western Australia.

Eric joined the Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club in 1942 and gained his Bronze Medallion in 1943. He received life membership to SLSWA in 1969, and to SLSA in 1977-78. Eric was admired and respected by all for his contribution to the Surf Life Saving movement. Below is an extract from the 1977-78 SLSA Annual Report recognising Eric's contribution.

A private funeral will be conducted, while a wake will be held at Cottesloe SLSC on Friday.
