The Interstate Championships provides an opportunity for Australia's finest surf lifesavers to represent their state in elite lifesaving sports competition. Held over two days of competition, the state vs. state battle is contested in the pool, on the beach and in the ocean. Competition is fierce as each state fights to be crowned the dominant force in lifesaving sports.

2013 Interstate Championships

The 2013 Interstates will be held in Sydney from 21-22 January. Pool events will take place on January 21 at Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush. Ocean events will be held on the following day (January 22) at Newport Beach
