Surf Life Saving Australia has a wide range of IT Systems, Websites and Applications that are in use across the country by our membership. We offer a range of support services to help club members and administrators at club, branch, state and the national organisation:
All of our systems and websites have user guides that fully document the system and their various features and facilities. In the case of Surfguard and Surfcom there are online user guides which are fully searchable, both of which can be accessed from the Online Help link at the top of the screen.
All of our user guides and manuals are also located in the Members Portal library in Administration > IT > SLSA - many of them are also available in sls.com.au/downloads. They are regularly updated and we advise all administrators to check for new versions at least yearly in order to stay up-to-date with all enhancements, bug fixes and changes.
We have made a range of tutorial videos for our main systems, which are available in our YouTube channel, slsahelpdesk. Systems covered include Surfguard, Surfcom and Lifesaving Online.
Our helpdesk operates seven days a week, 365 days a year and our email inboxes are regularly checked. In order to help us to help you, please direct your emails to the correct inbox as per below:
We take phone calls between 8am and 6:30pm during the week and 9am to 1pm at weekends. Outside of that time you can leave a voicemail and these will be processed at the start of the next day. The helpdesk number for all systems, websites and apps is 1300 724006.
Our IT team regularly conduct training sessions for our administrative systems such as Surfguard. These are typically arranged by branch and state officials and if you would like training for Surfguard or Surfcom please contact branch or state in the first instance.
