Swimming Australia is looking for the next wave of Aussie athletes to take up the challenge of one of the newest and most exciting Olympic Sports, marathon swimming.

We are looking for talented, committed and hardworking athletes who can successfully transfer their athletic ability and open water swimming skills, to the Olympic sport of Marathon Swimming, whilst maintaining and continually improving their surf performances.

The Next Wave program will identify potential athletes through their performances at state and national surf championships. Selected athletes will be given the opportunity to participate in specific camps which will expose them to the competitive world of marathon swimming.
