Surf Life Saving Australia would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Valentines Day.
Here are just a few of the love stories we have created;
Laura and Tom met four years ago through surf lifesaving. Ordinarily they would be patrolling together this Sunday however instead Laura will be nursing Tom back to health after a recent operation.
Watching the one you love quietly go about saving the lives of others loved ones is special and very unique to surf lifesaving. Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lifesaving couples – Tom
Lanna and her partner Sam met at an IRB course at Secret Harbour SLSC in WA when she was just 15 years old.
We’ve been together seven years now, bought a house and have a dog…the typical white picket fence story. We spend most of our time together training or at the beach. – Lanna
Keely’s parents met through surf lifesaving and this year will have been patrolling together for over 20 years. Keely has continued the family tradition also a surf lifesaver now at Etty Bay SLSC.
Toni and her now husband are patrolling together this Valentines Day at Crowdy Head Beach.
We will be patrolling this Sunday with our two beautiful kids. We have been with the surf club for a very very long time. What better way to spend the day – Toni
