Andrew is an Age Manager and accredited Pool Rescue and Swim/Surf Coach for Sorrento SLSC. Developing high performance athletes at State, National and International level with a high retention and level of performance. Also named Coach of the Year for WA and his club. Andrew prides himself on representing the club and Surf Life Saving, developing strong relationships with athletes and presenting a positive image as coach and mentor for new and upcoming coaches.

Craig is Head Coach of Board Paddling, managing a team of all different ages and abilities, attracting over 50 paddlers in the 2019/20 season. This growth reflects his dedication, organisation and experience. His ability to build confidence, resilience and self-esteem in the athletes are best measured by the results and number of people he has attracted to the team.

Alex is the Junior Coach, Ski Captain/Coach, active patrolling member and a Senior/Masters competitor. Alex’s enthusiasm, energy and passion permeates in his communication, organisation and training he delivers. Alex’s passion and dedication as a surf coach has directly influenced all club members and families. Since Alex joined the coaching team, South Port has seen a 30% increase in Nipper registration.

James is the Lifesaving Victoria Pool State Team Coach, has won the past 15 State titles for Mordialloc LSC and was the Royal Australian Pool Coach that attended the Commonwealth Festival of Lifesaving in Leeds, UK. James has led coaching sessions for development coaches in junior competition and supported and encouraged participation in pool lifesaving for the past 20 years.

Life Member and Coach for Wauchope-Bonny Hills SLSC’s U23 Women’s Boat Crew, Steve’s ability to motivate, engage and recruit new members into Surf Sports is incredible. With his crew reaching top 8 at State Titles, he always gets the best out of his athletes. Steve has been instrumental in changing the rowing club culture, promoting a supportive, healthy and safe environment.
Surfers Paradise SLSC, Queensland
Zayne has been the Senior Coach at Surfers Paradise for the past 15 years, Australian Pathway Team Coach and this season developed and delivered a schools and community engagement education program. A deliberate and considered coach and mentor, Zayne models the values and character traits he inspires in his team. His athletes achieved exceptional results at both the Iron X and the Nutri-Grain Iron Series.
