Fisher was the U17 and Open Age group champion at the NT State Championships and awarded Youth Athlete of the competition. A volunteer patrolling member at Mindil, Fisher is always willing to assist to help see the club grow as well as assisting the community. He has a willingness to learn and push himself constantly to be the best he can.

Harrison Hynes
Fremantle SLSC, Western Australia
Harrison had a successful season being selected for State, National and International teams. Achieving first places at the SLSA and WA Pool Rescue Championships and competed at the Commonwealth Festival of Lifesaving in Leeds, UK. Harrison always performs to the best of his ability and is an impeccable role model to younger athletes as an Assistant Coach and mentor.

Port Sorell SLSC, Tasmania
Cooper is considered Port Sorell’s most successful 2019-20 Youth Athlete having achieved Competitor of the Year. Cooper was awarded Iron Champion of the Year, Board Champion of the Year and Overall Male Champion of the Year at State Championships and selected for the Tasmanian Development Squad. Cooper personifies the club values; he gives his best effort and embraces opportunities.

Grange SLSC, South Australia
Kayla was selected for the SA Reds, her seventh time representing the State and experienced great success. Kayla is a committed athlete, patrolling member and role model. Constantly assisting youth athletes with training, techniques and inspiring them to succeed. Kayla is known for her hard work on and off the beach and is part of the drone emergency services team.

Mia Spencer
Hampton LSC, Victoria
Mia was undefeated in flags and sprints in both her age group and Opens at the State Carnival where she has been the State Champion eleven times. Mia demonstrates the right character. She is a team player, always willing to help others by sharing her knowledge and mentoring others. During COVID, Mia has volunteered her time offering fitness and flag sessions via Zoom for the Hampton nippers.

Noah Steiner
Wanda SLSC, New South Wales
Noah achieved first places in a number of events including U17 Iron at both NSW State and Interbranch Championships. Noah participates in a range of coaching and water safety engagements with the Nipper program at Wanda. As a former Nipper Club Captain, State and Australian Champion, Noah understand the importance and merits of encouraging, mentoring and influencing juniors to develop a love of lifesaving and competition.
QLD
Connor Peabody
Kurrawa SLSC, Queensland
Connor experienced great results during 2019/20 clocking the fastest time for the Short Course, Coolangatta Gold in the U19 & Opens categories. He placed first at the QLD 2k swim endurance event and won two gold medals at the SLSA Pool Rescue Championships. Connor is a valued member of Kurrawa assisting with Nipper training, school holiday camps and delivering Surf Safety Talks.
