The Surf Life Saving Foundation (SLSF) is responsible for the creation and delivery of programs to raise much needed funds for the movement. SLSF facilitates the following activities to deliver a positive contribution back to the movement for essential community programs and services through Surf Life Saving Australia and SLS State entities.
The Grant Seeking Unit within SLSF was established as a national grant research and writing support unit for Surf Life Saving entities across Australia. The GSU’s main focus is to research appropriate grant opportunities from private trusts and foundations and relevant government agencies.
The Surf Life Saving Foundation also operate one of the largest ‘House and Land’ lottery programs in Australia. Each year the Surf Life Saving Foundation operates six prize home lotteries alongside a membership and loyalty program, The Champions Club.
Surf Life Saving has embarked on a five year national campaign, titled ‘Be A Life Saver’, to raise awareness of the movement as a community organisation in need. The campaign, which runs across the peak summer months, aims to highlight the urgent need for public donations to purchase life-saving equipment for clubs around Australia. Help us prevent drownings at our beaches, donate today and Be A Life Saver.
