Australia’s Iconic Nutri-Grain IronMan and Ironwoman Series

The 2019/2020 Nutri-Grain IronMan and IronWoman Series

Over the course of five rounds, 20 of the best male and female athletes will compete for the glory of being crowned a Nutri-Grain IronMan or IronWoman champion.

The traditional Iron racing format involves a ski, board and swim leg with a run leg in between each discipline. The first round of the 2019/2020 Nutri-Grain Iron Series will kick off with the iconic endurance race, the Coolangatta Gold.

This year’s new look series, will also involve an invitational Iron X event, that mixes new obstacles and craft disciplines with traditional elements of iron racing.


The Nutri-Grain Iron Series Dates and Locations:

The Nutri-Grain IronMan and IronWoman Series involves five rounds of elite racing as well as a standalone Iron X event:

  • Qualification Round – 7-8 September 2019 – Coolum, QLD
  • Round 1 – Coolangatta Gold – 13 October 2019 – Coolangatta, QLD
  • Round 2 – Nutri-Grain Series – 17 November 2019 – Burleigh Heads, QLD
  • Round 3 – Nutri-Grain Series – 1 December 2019 – Bulli, NSW
  • Round 4 – Nutri-Grain Series – 15 December 2019 – Surfers Paradise, QLD
  • Round 5 – Nutri-Grain Series – 19 January 2020 – North Cronulla, NSW
  • Nutri-Grain Iron X – 27 January 2020 – Mooloolaba, QLD

Each athlete competing in the Nutri-Grain IronSeries is a patrolling member of a Surf Life Saving Club.
