Apia is located on the central north coast of Upolu, Samoa's second largest island. Apia is the only 'city' in Samoa and has a population of around 37,700. Apia is situated on a natural harbour and enjoys the usual Pacific island mix of colourful fruit, vegetable and fish markets; stores and traders; supermarkets; cafes/restaurants and bars. The temperature is approx 30°C all year round, with high humidity in the wet season (from November to April).
