Take the SLSA survey to help your Club win!
Just by filling out the Deloitte Access Economics survey that SLSA have commissioned, club members have the opportunity to help their club host surf sports stars and legends for an event or coaching clinic of their choice!
Surf Life Saving Australia has commissioned Deloitte Access Economics to undertake a project to identify the various ways in which SLSA generates benefits for both its members and the wider Australian community.
The club with the highest percentage of members who complete the Deloitte Access Economics survey, will earn the opportunity to have past and present surf sports stars in SLSA Hall of Fame Ironman Trevor Hendy AM, Courtney Hancock, Ali Day and Zayne Hamill visit the winning club!
Members will have received an email from SLSA President Graham Ford advising of the impending survey ahead of the email from Deloitte Access Economics, which was sent last week, with the survey link. Deloitte Access Economics have also sent a reminder to members with a link to the survey.
The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes and asks members a range of questions relating to things such as the benefits of completing training, physical activity and being part of a community organisation.
This type of report was last commissioned in 2011, and SLSA are now seeking an updated estimate as to the economic and social value of SLSA.
Direct member feedback is an important component of the project, and SLSA has worked closely with Deloitte Access Economics to develop a survey for Club Members aged 16 years and over to seek their views and understand their experiences.
SLSA encourages all members to complete the survey and encourage others, to win the opportunity to host a suitable event or activity with Hendy, Hancock, Day and Hamill.
The survey closes on Monday, February 3, with the final report scheduled for completion and communication to all club members at the end of March.
